*Periodically fees increase due to inflation and cost of living increases. You will be advised in advance when this occurs. To ensure Cathartic Collaborations services are accessible and affordable, fees are kept well below the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) recommended schedule of fees for private practice ($270 per hour) and the NDIS recommended schedule of fees ($193.99/hour). Cathartic Collaborations is unable to offer bulk billing and/or reduced fees.

• Self referrals: Full fee, payment is required straight after the session.

• Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): Referrals via GP with MHCP for Medicare rebate ($85.20) and gap fee ($94.80). You will need to pay the full amount straight after your session. Your Medicare rebate ($85.20) will be processed at the same time and it will  be deposited into your bank account registered with Medicare.

• NDIS: NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan managed are welcome! If you are self managed payment will be required straight after your session and you will be sent an invoice to be reimbursed by NDIS. Plan managed participants' plan manager will be sent an invoice after the session for payment.   

• Private Health Insurance: Only some health insurance providers offer rebates for AMHSW, such as Bupa, HCF, Teachers Health Fund, UniHealth Insurance, and Nurses and Midwives Health. To confirm coverage for Cathartic Collaborations Services, please contact your health insurance provider. Payment is due after the session, and an invoice will be emailed to you for claiming with your insurance provider.

 

Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice is required otherwise a cancellation fee of $180 is payable prior to the next session. Please note Mental Health Care Plan clients are unable to access the Medicare rebate for appointments that aren't attended.

Payment will be required straight after the session. If your organisation/employer is paying for your supervision an invoice will be sent to a nominated person within your organisation for payment. ​

First Appiontment/Initial Consultation: $60 for 1 hour consultation, including associated administration and preparation. An invoice will be sent for payment after the appointment.

We recognise that every client has unique budget needs, so we offer a range of packages to accommodate different budgets. If our standard packages don’t fully meet your needs, we can customise a plan to include specific elements from those packages. If you prefer this approach, we’ll start with a consultation to assess how we can best support your journey to success. Consultations are $60 per hour, and any additional services beyond consultation are also billed at $60 per hour.

 

Once a suitable package is chosen an invoice for 50% of the package fee will be sent and payment is required prior to commencement of services. An invoice for the outstanding 50% of the package will be sent and payment required prior to delivery of final outputs of services.
